Wing Nut selvedge indigo Denim vest Is made right here in our shop one at a time by american hands, using american made 13.5 Oz. Cone mill denim. Cone Mills has been making denim since 1891 and this denim is as authentic as it comes in terms of build and quality. Each vest is constructed using 100 year old techniques unlike the denim clothing you buy at a department store. The denim bolts come in 30” wide and the reason it is called selvedge denim is from its root word self edge. On either side of the bolts it is finished off by a red selvedge edge resulting in not needing to finish that edge unlike lesser denim material. I use this denim because as it wears and breaks in it will take on a look that only you can provide. It features large front pockets to stick your wallet and phone in to keep them from falling out of your typical pants pockets while riding. A phone can become quite irritating in your front pocket. It comes unlined. The vest is meant to fit snug but not so snug that you can’t fit a flannel under it. It is designed to be practical yet stylish. It is shown here in a large on the model and he is about 195 pounds and 6 foot tall.
